Dr. Nicolas Villanustre, board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, has established a reputation as an experienced, skillful surgeon who utilizes progressive techniques to obtain exceptional results. His extensive training combined with his compassionate approach have helped his patients achieve their goals with a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Specializing in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body and face, Dr. Villanustre’s services include functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery. He also is an expert in breast augmentation, reconstruction and lift. In addition, Dr. Villanustre specializes in body contouring such as tummy tucks, mommy makeovers and Coolsculpting. Dr. Villanustre’s areas of facial expertise include facial rejuvenation including eye, brow, face and neck lifts. Additionally, he provides non-surgical anti-aging treatments such as BOTOX®, dermal fillers and laser skin rejuvenation treatments.
Dr. Villanustre received a Medical Doctorate from Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay. He completed his training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Indiana University and furthered his training in cosmetic surgery during an international fellowship with Dr. Ivo Pitanguy in Brazil. He was a full time faculty member of the Department of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he achieved the status of Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
His training, clinical experience and his personal connection with patients have fostered many tributes and awards, including: the Patient’s Choice Awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011; a Compassionate Doctor Award in 2010 and a 2014 On-Time Doctor Award. In addition, he was #1 on Cosmo’s Hot List of Best Plastic Surgeons in Florida and nominated for Best of the Bay’s Best Nip & Tuck Doctor in 2016 and 2017.
